"GROVE OF SEVEN"

Spintale's debut CD of "The Song of Taliesin" by John Matthews is now in our hot little hands and we are very excited about the project. We apologise for the delay but assure you this is for the best of reasons - to ensure a top quality product which sounds exactly like we want it to. 

"The Song of Taliesin" is a a double CD version of the live shows that performer/storyteller Steve Gladwin has been doing for the last few years and seeks to capture that atmosphere as accurately as possible.  It's release forms the beginning of a new partnership between Steve and musician and storyteller Jem Dick of "Resonance Studios" in Somerset where it was recorded in November-January of this year.

It also has the added awen of storyteller Sharon Jacksties.

The CD uses not only the words of John Matthews and Steve Gladwin but an array of magnificent instruments and efffects to truly capture the combination of live and ancient. We are very excited about the project and look out for more news on the release on this page and on "Spintale - coming soon".

Steve and Andy are two fifty year old storytellers and performers with a wealth of experience between them who have never quite grown up.

Steve is the current Honorary Chief Bard of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids as well as a storyteller and performer of wide experience. He is also a teacher and writer who, with Andy, runs courses in bardism and creativity.

Andy is a well known and easily recognisable storyteller and performer who has appeared in a variety of venues.. He has worked as a policeman, as a RSPCA officer and is currently an occupational therapist.

As "The Last of the Red Hot Bards" we are currently offering two shows.
