THE CONFIDENCE TO FAIL
Life constantly changes. The challenge of a new job or the shock of losing a loved one. An unexpected bereavement or finding the courage to make that important phone call, or talk to the person you know can help. And we can’t do any of this without getting it wrong first.
Everybody has done it. Everybody needs to do it. But no-one ever teaches us it’s a part of life. So how do you go about changing negative habits of a lifetime?
‘The Confidence to Fail,’ is a series of workshops which use drama, confidence building and storytelling techniques to explore and work with groups towards a new way of looking at failure.
Under expert, gentle tuition and with the full support of the group and a safe space, you will learn methods for dealing with challenge, loss, change and confidence. Above all, you will find the confidence to fail.
Tutor: Steve GladwinMy name is Steve Gladwin and I am a teacher, performer and storyteller with 25 years experience of leading workshops with groups of all ages and types.
I have the proven ability to get the skills and confidence out of people they never know that they had. I believe that any workshop should combine honesty, humour and the support of others.
Above all we need to enjoy getting things wrong. To have the confidence to fail.
I work from personal experience of ‘change and bereavement,’ with traditional tales and with my work experience as a drama teacher.
A workshop can run anything from a half day, (3 hours) to a full 5 hour one. However evening, weekend and longer term residential options can also be catered for. Talk to me and I will come up with a package that suits you and your group.
Prices from £200-350 with a whole range of options. I loom forward to meeting you. your content here
“It provided so much more than a good feeling. It was the more active feeling of being challenged. I was left with something good that I could take away with me.”
