ROBIN HOOD, MERLIN AND THE SECRET WORLD OF THE BARDS

Stories are not the only magical things to come from the wood. Working with wood can come in any number of ways, and oak, ash and birch can speak to us as loudly as Robin Hood, Odin or the heroes of the Kalevala.
After the terrible battle of Arderydd Merlin uses the wood as his sanctuary whilst in the stories of “The Song Of Taliesin” the great world wood of Broceliande is as much a state of mind as a physical place. There is a world of secrets contained in both these magical places where each tree carries a different gift or inspiration
"In The Secret Wood” is a bardic course with a difference set within the magical and inspirational 80 acre woodland site of “Wildways” in Shropshire.
Between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon you will have the opportunity of experiencing the wood for yourself on any number of stimulating levels.
Take your own journey, dream up an instrument, find a totem to accompany you, and work practically with the celtic tree ogham. Then inspire your magical creations with the Green Wood, and bring them out in story, song and poetry.
All this in the magical calm setting of “Wildways” with good basic accommodation, great company, food, camp fire and sauna. £140 for the whole weekend Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.
