"SWANFALL"
My name is Steve Gladwin. I am a storyeller, teacher, writer and performer. In November 2006 I lost my partner Celia and although much of the time was filled with pain and heartbreak, I have learnt since that we were among the lucky ones.
"Swanfall" is a bereavement support service through the arts.
There are currently two projects being undertaken under it's wing.
"Are You Having a Laugh", (see contents section above) is a full day of storytelling and workshop specially designed to introduce children in years 5 and 6 to the subject of loss and bereavement by using both comedy and tragedy.
"Catch a Lift on the next Raven"is a piece for adult audiences which uses by own experience to combine storytelling, song and reminiscence to celebrate a life, and the stories which were part of it.
